Product Overview
A troika sweeps across the snow, its horses bringing a burst of color and movement to Fadeev's luminous winter matryoshka. Pale shawls and lavender accents soften the lively scene, while delicate painted ornament recalls the intricate beauty of frost. The smaller maidens continue the winter mood with their own miniature details.
Hand-painted on wood in Russia by Fadeev, this seven-piece nesting set has a largest doll approximately 8.5 inches (21.5 cm) tall. The richly patterned backs and fine raised accents reward a leisurely look from every side. A graceful centerpiece for a winter collection, with the warmth of Russian folk art beneath its snowy palette.
