Product Overview
A spirited troika glides through a snowy Russian landscape, its lively horses framed by deep blue shawls and delicate winter ornament. Across the smaller dolls, village scenes and miniature figures carry the eye into the quiet beauty of the season. The painting combines the movement of the sleigh ride with the stillness of snow-covered surroundings.
Hand-painted on wood in Russia, this seven-piece matryoshka has a largest doll approximately 9 inches (23 cm) tall. The generous scale allows the fine scenes and intricate decoration to unfold beautifully. A dramatic centerpiece for a winter display, offering the charm of Russian country life in a richly detailed collector's set.
