Product Overview

This is a famous scene from the fairy-tale called "Ivan Tsarevich and the Firebird"  . Painted by Master Artist Voronkova in Palekh, which is known as the best tempera painting village; closely following the oldest traditions of icon painting masters this style and colors are unique to this village. Measures 4.25'x2.5"x1.5" and has a certificate from the Palekh Master Workshop.

The box is made out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The lid is hinged from the left of the scene and the box rests on four rounded legs. The work is signed with the artist's name.
