This gorgeous piece of authentic Russian miniature was created by Fedoskino artist Gulov. He has mastered the ability to create breath-taking landscapes that appeal to each and every aspect of our senses. The work features the picturesque view of Russian countryside in Winter.
The scene is painted in different shades of white, brown and blue. There is infinite texture in the landscape. The structure of the trees is highly elaborate. Each and every tree is detailed to perfection!
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Blue lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the piece while red lacquer completes the interior of the box. A hinge is fastened to the top of the composition. The work is signed. Approx.size 3.25"x2.75"x1".
