This wonderful Russian matryoshka Dolls depict one of the most popular Russian folk tales - "Snegurochka", or "The Snow Maiden". This attractive nesting doll is imported directly from Russia. It's hand carved from linden wood and hand painted. Open it up and it reveals a set of smaller dolls inside. Each doll has a different facial expression. Matte lacquer finish. Approx. 5.5" tall and signed by the artist.
