Seal Spirit Mask | Alaska Whalebone / Fur Mask

A very nice ivory carving... This is an authentic Alaska Native article of handicraft. Very nice walrus ivory carving of a seal spirit mask, with baleen inlay eyes, set on a baleen circle. It was made and is signed by Master Eskimo carver, Jacob Shavings originally from Nunivak Island Alaska. It measures about 10" x 9.5".
 It would make a great addition to a collection or a real surprise and very unique gift for someone special from a very remote part of the U.S.
