This "Sea Otter" plaque carved by Dora Edwards. Dora is the daughter of Connie Edwards and Larry James. She was born on Penelakut Island, one of British Columbia's Gulf Islands, in 1985. She learned the art of carving from her parents, both well-known Coastal Salish carvers, at the age of 14. Handcrafted from yellow cedar and painted. The plaque is approx. 10.5" long and 6.5" wide. Signed by the artist.
