It's hand-carved from linden wood and hand painted by a Russian artist. Open it up and it reveals a set of smaller dolls inside. Each one represents scene from Russian fairy tale. Features highly glossed finish and embellished with gold. Makes a great gift or home decoration. The largest doll is approximately 10" tall. Real 22 kt gold flakes in details of the painting cast a warm glow, even in minimal lighting. This doll is hand painted by the famous artist well known by intricate details that she puts into the dress, kerchief and kokoshnik (Russian traditional headdress). Also, a great attention was paid to kerchief decorations – here you can see elegant white laces and exquisite flower ornaments. Hand signed by the artist.
