Product Overview
Golden leaves curl like lace around soft pink blossoms in this vivid Kruzheva matryoshka by Shalamov. The flowers glow against scarlet shawls, while tiny white painted dots give the ornament a delicate, embroidered feel. Gentle faces soften the rich decoration, making the set as welcoming as it is colorful.
Made and hand-painted on wood in Russia, the five nesting dolls have a largest figure approximately 4.1 inches (10.5 cm) tall. The floral pattern continues around the backs beneath a glossy finish. A charming compact piece for a floral collection, full of the warmth and intricate rhythm of traditional Russian ornament.
