A beautiful chunk of fossilized woolly mammoth ivory with a polar bear and a seal scrimshaw. Artist George Vukson engraved a wild scene into a mounted piece of fossil mammoth ivory using a traditional technique called scrimshaw. The base is shed caribou antler. The ivory piece is approx. 5.25" x 1.75". Signed by the artist.
