Product Overview
A penguin shelters its little chick close against its breast, giving this charming set a quiet story of family and care. Open the larger bird and a smaller penguin appears; tucked within is a simple white egg. The bold black-and-white plumage and softly painted faces make the little family instantly endearing.
Hand-painted on wood in Russia, the set contains three nesting pieces: two penguin figures and an egg. The largest stands approximately 4.3 inches (11 cm). An affectionate gift for a bird lover, this unusual matryoshka brings the nesting tradition to life through a wonderfully fitting animal theme.
