Alexandra Garkotina was born in 1980 in Leningrad, she resides in Kandalakshka town in Murmansk area at the White Sea in Northern Russia. For many years she has been making original art pieces using local materials, such as driftwood, stone, shells etc., which she gathers herself.
Alexandra presented her artwork at many local and national Folk Art and Interior Decoration exhibitions, her pieces could be found in numerous private collections all around the world.
