This very colorful and intricately painted collectible nesting doll is just a beauty. There are a lot of gold accents that were delicately painted by hand by a Russian artist V. Nasonova, as well as a touch of sparkle. This matryoshka doll is truly a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork that any serious art collector would cherish. This doll shares the Russian fairy tale - "Ivan Tsarevitch and the Grey Wolf".
Matryoshka's kokoshnik is decorated with blue, yellow and clear beads. Beautiful red and gold matryoshka's shawl is richly decorated with pink roses. This matryoshka set is painted by an art school Master Graduate Nasonova. Fairy Tales are her favorite subjects. Real crushed gold adorns the floral details. Approximately 8.25" tall and it's signed by the artist, Glossy lacquer finish.
