Product Overview
This small box is a creation of the Kholui artist Olga Federova, who is an admirer of flowers. Here she has painted a beautiful lotus and dragonfly.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The top painted on mother of pearl. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The lid is hinged from the left side of the scene and the box rests on a four round legs. The work is signed with the artist's name, box name and village Kholui. Approx. 3.5"x3"x2".
