This beautifully hand carved jade grizzly bear family highlights the skills of a professional artist. The piece is carved from a green nephrite jade mined from Alaska, home to some of the largest deposits of the world’s finest nephrite jade. It features mama grizzly and her two cubs about to enjoy a nice meal, each with a fresh caught salmon in their mouths. The family are standing on a natural jade base, with a small natural finish jade facade behind them.
The mama bear with salmon is approx. 3” long and 2” tall. The overall size of the piece is approx. 3” x 5 1/2” x 2 1/2″ tall. The surface is smooth and polished.
