Product Overview
An arrow, a crowned little frog, and a prince beside the water begin the tale of the Frog Princess. Vasilisa the Wise appears in her splendid human form on the next doll, with swans rising from her sleeves, while a palace and the tiny frog complete the enchanted scenes. Fresh green shawls and golden floral ornament frame this beloved Russian story.
Hand-painted on wood in Russia, the five-piece matryoshka has a largest doll approximately 5 inches (12.5 cm) tall. Its glossy finish brings out the lively colors and miniature details. A delightful gift for a fairy-tale lover, with a story of wisdom and unexpected beauty at its heart.
