Golden Summer | Mstera Lacquer Box

Irina Tikhomirova from the village of Mstera is the talented artist responsible for this lovely composition. This is a beautiful example of traditional Mstera floral painting. The painting is enhanced throughout with fine gold decorative lines. This box is approximately 3" x 3" x 1.25". Skillfully painted flowers, buds, leaves, graceful swirls form a single, complicated pattern of stylized plants. Painted in yellow, blue and red tempera paints the composition is richly detailed with lustrous gold paint.
