This beautiful landscape scene has been painted by talented Fedoskino artist Parmeonov Sergey.
It shows an Oak tree with brown and yellow leaves. To reproduce a chosen season realistically the artist has used sheet of gold under the leaves of the tree.
A piece of mother-of-pearl is shines through the skies to the left from the tree.
The scene is framed with gold line as well as the sides are decorated with two parallel lines them.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The lid is hinged from the left of the scene, and the box rests flat. The work is signed with the artist's name. Approx. size 5"x3.5"x1.5".
