Northern lights fill the sky over this charming Eskimo village scene. A panorama of colorful Inuit life wraps each of the nesting dolls, making the every-day festive and the commonplace legendary. There are so many lovely details on this Alaskan-themed nesting doll that it seems to have no front or back, no beginning or end. Animals critical to the survival of the Inuit line the ethnic matryoshka; in front of the wigwams we see a polar bear, seal, reindeer, and festive fish.
Production Techniques: Hand Painting/ Decoupage. Approximately 6" tall. The nesting doll looks very joyful and festive.
