A small and very detailed Santa is painted with a traditional winter scene of a troika (three-horse sleigh) racing through the snow with some Russian architecture in the background. This is one of the most popular Russian scenes, representing winter fun, youthful attitude, and happy holidays. Santa carries a very large bag in his snowflake trimmed mittens. Hand carved from solid wood and hand painted in remarkable detail with numerous coats of paint. Handcrafted from European linden wood, hand painted and signed by the artist - Vladimir Shestobansky. This Santa is approximately 7.5" tall. Made in Russia.
