Product Overview
Cat Vasili looks ready to receive guests in his splendid red coat and green cape. Kuznetsova gives him and his smaller feline companions the poise of a storybook court, with expressive faces, flowing whiskers, and richly patterned clothing. Their painted tails and little flowers add a playful touch to all that regal dress.
Hand-painted on wood in Russia by Kuznetsova, this set includes five nesting dolls, the largest approximately 6 inches (15 cm) tall. The costumes are decorated around the backs as well as the fronts, making each cat a character worth meeting. A lively, imaginative piece for a collector with a fondness for felines.
