Product Overview
Ivan Tsarevich and Elena the Fair journey through an enchanted world with the faithful Gray Wolf, bringing one of Russia's beloved fairy tales to this richly painted matryoshka. The little scenes glow against a deep black background, framed by golden scrolls, while red flowers bloom across the backs. Royal figures and the Firebird's feather recall the wonders of Ivan's quest.
Hand-painted on wood in Russia, the set includes five nesting dolls; the largest measures approximately 4.5 inches (11.5 cm). Its compact size makes the fine miniature scenes feel all the more precious, inviting a closer look at the story hidden within each doll.
