A beautiful piece of fossilized woolly mammoth ivory with a fishing bear scrimshaw.The ivory is mounted to a nice whalebone base. Artist George Vukson engraved a wild scene into a mounted piece of fossil mammoth ivory using a traditional technique called scrimshaw. The ivory piece is approx. 4"x3.5".
