Snegurochka with Polar Bear Cubs | Matryoshka / Nevalashka Doll/ Russian Nesting Doll

Each of these finely painted 5 piece nesting dolls of the Snowmaiden has a Mama Bear and a couple of friendly polar bear cubs painted on the front and a fabulous floral shawl on the back. Shimmering paint was used in various areas, as well as gold trimming and textured dots. Lovely painted details with matte finish. Matte finish adds a velvety look to the bright colors, typical of Ivanova's style. The large doll is approximately 6.5" tall. Signed by the artist - Galina Ivanova.
