Product Description

Walrus ivory Eskimo seal hunters with a seal in a walrus ivory double kayak. The walrus ivory Eskimo seal hunters are very intricately carved, kayakers dressed in Alaskan parka with hood on their heads. The seal hunter is holding a walrus ivory harpoon and a walrus ivory paddle in the other hand (harpoon and paddle are removable from his hands). The second hunter is holding a walrus ivory paddle. A walrus ivory seal is laying across the front of the kayak and a walrus ivory seal bag is in the back of the kayak. Hand painted black detailing on the seal, harpoon and kayak.
Gorgeous coloring in the walrus ivory. It was carved by extremely talented King Island Inupiauq (Eskimo) master carver Joe Kunnuk - a member of the local King Island native Eskimo inupiauq tribe from Nome Alaska.

Walrus ivory It is a natural material and can have variations in color, imperfections and lines which are all normal.
