Product Description

    A beautiful piece of very large fossilized woolly mammoth ivory with three fishing bears scrimshaw. Brilliant composition and work by Vukson on this scrimshaw. Nice color in the ancient mammoth tusk, the result of minerals that were absorbed into the ivory when it was buried in the ground.

The ivory is mounted to a fossilized walrus jaw bone base. The ivory piece is approx. 26". The bases is 17.5" long. Signed by artist.
 This is an incredible piece and nice addition to any scrimshaw collection.
