Product Overview
This lacquer miniature was created by Irina Tikhomirova of Mstera. This artist specializes in ornamental and floral compositions while using bright tones with realistic floral colors. In the center of this box is beatiful butterfly with sakura flowers painted against pink background. The flowers are painted in soft tempera paints and detailed with gold paints. This scene is framed with an intricate gold floral pattern.
The box is made out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The lid is hinged at the top of the composition, and the box rests on a four round legs. The artist wrote her name, Mstera, and the title on the bottom of the box. Approx. 3.5"x3"x2".
