An antique Russian "Banka" jar-shaped brass samovar. This samovar was produced in the workshop of I.G. Batasheva and N.I. Batashev in Tula, Russia circa 1912. The body of the samovar is in excellent condition with some minor mineral deposit in the interior due to use. The samovar measures approximately 52cm (20.4") high and has a volume of approximately 7 liters. The maker's marks for the Batashev workshop are on the front edge of the top, on the front edge of the base, and on the front of the body along with numerous award seals.
